INDEPENDENT NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Mr. K.N. CHAN holds a diploma in management studies received from The University of Hong Kong in 1976 and a bachelor of laws degree from the University of London in 1990. Mr. Chan is an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, a fellow member of The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and a member of the HKICPA. Mr. Chan was the Deputy Chief Executive of the Land Development Corporation (now Urban Renewal Authority). He was an executive director of Galaxy Entertainment Group Limited (stock code 27) listed on the Main Board and was also the managing director of its construction materials division until he retired in May 2008. He is an independent non-executive director of Soundwill Holdings Limited (stock code 878) listed on the Main Board.
